Here are seven more reviews from this year I have produced
for the ever reliable MusiqueMachine.com. This batch includes David
Tibet and
Youth's towering monument to wigged out psychedelia Hypnopazuzu, the DVD
release
of the infamous 'The Sound of Progress' documentary and Rafal Kolacki's
important sound-art dispatch from the now dismantled Calais migrant camp
the Jungle.

Essay outlining a critique of consent at Spectre-Online
The folks at Spectre have kindly allowed me to put out an
essay on the controversial subject of consent classes at university and consent more
generally. It's something of a sketch so although not short (as
usual) it's meant to draw inferences from a wide range of sources and put
some of our commonly held assumptions into doubt, or at least cast them in a new
light.
Here it is: Desiring and Acting Differently: A Sketch Towards a Critique of Consent
